Over the last few years WATI has developed a number of supplemental
materials that address literacy for students with disabilities.
These range from letters to parents that explain the use of assistive
technology for their child with a disability to adapted books and
communication boards to use with the child. One set was developed
for Birth to 3 programs in Wisconsin, another for Head Start programs.
These are being made available here for anyone to download and use.
We just request that WATI be given credit for these materials and
that the WATI name remain on them when they are printed.
The materials for the School Age population were developed by Kathy
White, an Assistive Technology Specialist from Janesville, Wisconsin.
There are numerous resources nested within this section, including
many links to outside pages.
