WATI Lending Library Policies
- Wisconsin service providers in Birth to 3 programs,
Child Care Reference
& Referral Centers, Head Start, and public school districts are eligible
to check items from the WATI Lending Library.
- You should check with your regional WATI consultant prior to checking items
out to assure you are borrowing a device appropriate for the target student.
Click
here for contact information.
- You may check out any number of items as is reasonable to use within the
initial loan period of 35 days (includes shipping time).
- If an item is unavailable, you may put your name on a reserve list for when
it becomes available. If your school district or agency has already borrowed
the item during this school year, other on reserve will be given priority before you.
- All items must be returned on/before the due date. You will be
notified via email if the item is overdue. If the item is not returned to
WATI within three days, a second notice will be sent to you and copied
to your principal/supervisor. If the item is not received one week after
the due date, you will then be assessed a $5 fee per item per day, until
the item is received at WATI. You will be prohibited from borrowing
additional items from the lending library until the item is received at WATI
and the fine paid.
- CESA 2 delivery users should be aware of their once a week delivery
schedule. If you miss the delivery, you will need to use another method to
return the item(s) to WATI on time, at your own expense. Thank you for your
prompt attention.
- You must insure item(s) for amount listed on checkout form that comes with
your shipment. Insure each shipping package for the total value of the items in it (see checkout form
sent to you with your items). If the value in a package exceeds $500, insure it for only $500.
- You must return item(s) CLEAN and in working order; notify WATI staff and
return equipment/software IMMEDIATELY if it ceases to operate; contact the WATI staff if items are
missing from the packing list as soon as you receive your order.
- Complete the data report and evalution form included with your items and
submit with your resource returns.
- You will be required to reimburse the WATI Lending Library at the current
market value if the item is lost, has missing parts, or is damaged beyond
repair. If item can be repaired, you will be responsible for the repair costs.
- OBEY SOFTWARE COPYRIGHT LAWS. Absolutely
no copying of disks, CDs or other copyrighted resources. Borrower must uninstall programs
from all computer hard drives prior to returning software.
