Assisting Literacy Development through Assistive Technology in Head Start Programs

The purpose of this Early Childhood Literacy portion of the WATI website is to provide professionals and parents who work with young children with disabilities with assistance in integrating assistive technology into their literacy programs. This series of materials was developed as part of the Wisconsin State Improvement Grant with the target audience of Head Start providers, but WATI would like to share them with all who can benefit from them. Some of the materials are intended to inform parents and professionals and some are intended to use directly with children. Permission is granted to make as many copies as needed as long as credit is given to the Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative.
